Where to send it
Email is the friendlier path for nontechnical feedback, Journal source signals, cleanup examples, screenshots of public examples, and short notes.

GitHub Issues are public. They are best for repeatable bugs, broken links, cleanup edge cases, and technical reports.

Please do not send confidential, client, medical, legal, personal, or sensitive text through either path. A useful report is usually small: the broken line, what PasteLint did, and what you expected instead. Small anonymized examples are best.
General feedback
- Confusing page
- Unclear tool behavior
- Missing explanation
- Broken link
Send a Journal source signal
The Text Preparation Journal starts with real examples. Send a Reddit thread, article, screenshot, search query, workflow failure, or public example that shows text breaking before it becomes a post, script, prompt, voiceover, support reply, or SSML/IVR recording.

Report a cleanup edge case
PasteLint improves when real cleanup cases expose a rule that should be safer. For bug reports, include only the smallest safe excerpt needed to explain the issue.
- PDF paste breaks
- Hidden characters
- Repeated AI filler
- TTS/SSML pronunciation or chunking issue
- Copied text that looks fine but behaves badly
